Who is the woman behind the iconic face that has come to be known as ‘Maud’ of Maudlifestyle?

 

Maud isn’t called Maud at all. Maudlifestyle is the undeniably desirable concept boutique founded by Elaine Stokes.  After a professional career in fashion and interiors spanning more than 30 years, Elaine channelled her passion for the beautiful and unusual by creating Maudlifestyle in 2013.

 

Elaine’s enviable knowledge and expert eye for decorative antiques and vintage treasures began during the early years of her career. After working at Harrods, Harvey Nichols and leading the buying and visual direction for Jaeger, Elaine trained at London’s renowned Inchbald School of Design and launched herself into the world of design with her own Interiors business. 

 

Elaine’s knowledge of the luxury market and natural flair for style led her to design a shopping destination like no other. As a collector of beautiful things, namely Italian Murano glass and vintage costume jewellery, at the very heart of Maudlifestyle is its incredibly unique buy. Maudlifestyle specialises in furniture, antique to mid-century, decorative objects, art and designer costume jewellery, a taste of fashion and elegant gifts for today’s discerning shopper. Elaine is a tastemaker of style, and it is her carefully curated, personal selection of high quality, one-off pieces that makes Maudlifestyle utterly exquisite.
